Corsair Charters’ M/Y Denali is a vessel worthy of Prince William Sound, with the latest navigational technology and all the comforts of home. She was specifically designed for overnight service in the Sound, with large staterooms, comfortable viewing, and plenty of room aboard.

The Denali is a 42-foot Glassply Tri-Cabin trawler. Designed as a long-range cruiser, she's especially well suited for the waters of the Sound. Her deep keel provides for steady cruising and smooth running. Twin diesel engines deliver a dependable ride and easy maneuvering.

Denali offers traditional luxury and comfort, with two helm stations, a large main salon, full galley, three private staterooms, two heads, roomy cockpit, and newly refitted hardwood floors and Corian counters. She's great for touring and watching scenery and wildlife from her viewer-friendly salon, the walk-around deck, roomy cockpit, spacious covered fly-bridge and mid deck.

Sleeping Quarters
Sleeping up to eight on board, Denali has three staterooms, plus sleeping accommodations in the salon, with bedding and bath towels provided.

  • The Forward Stateroom sleeps two on a double berth on the port side. It’s appointed with a vanity desk, two hanging lockers, a skylight, and private access to the forward head.
  • The Main Stateroom also sleeps two on a double berth located aft of the salon. It has a private head with separate stall shower, rear door, writing desk and large storage closet.
  • The Crew Quarters sleeps two in single-bunk berths. Located just forward of the main salon, the quarters have a large hanging locker for neat, secure storage.
  • The Salon sleeps two on a large, pullout berth on the port side of the vessel.

The Galley
Located in the salon area, this beautiful galley boasts Corian counters and new teak cabinets. It is equipped with a three-burner electric stove and oven, microwave, and a large refrigerator. The galley’s also outfitted with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, staples, condiments and paper products. For fresh-caught seafood underway, there's also a propane barbecue grill.

Electronics & Navigation
The Primary Helm, located off the salon, is equipped with the following:

  • VHF radio
  • Furuno radars
  • Simrad Global Positioning System Plotter
  • Nobletech navigation system
  • TR1 Autopilot with remote control
  • Two depth sounders
  • Compass at each helm
  • AM-FM radio and CD player
Steering for both the Primary Helm, and the Secondary Helm on the fly bridge, is hydraulic.

Also furnished aboard are Prince William Sound nautical charts and tide tables, and the informative Cruising Guide to Prince William Sound and Chapman’s Nautical Guide.

Equipment & Tackle
The Denali offers full comfort while cruising or at anchor. The cabin is heated by the engine while underway, or by electric heaters. The vessel’s large freshwater tank provides ample water for lengthy cruises.

All required safety and first-aid equipment is aboard. Ground tackle includes a Bruce anchor with 400 feet of line, in addition to a spare anchor and line. Setting anchor is easy, with a drum anchor winch.

For trips to shore, the Denali also is outfitted with an 11' lightweight aluminum rigid hull inflatable dinghy with a 10 Hp motor.
